This incentive is provided by the NSW Government. The offer commenced on 1 November.
The incentive is proportional to the usable capacity of the battery in kilowatt-hours (kWh). Larger batteries will receive a larger incentive.
To qualify for these incentives, you must:
– Have an existing solar system or be purchasing rooftop solar.
– Purchase a new battery.
– Use a certified installer, such as Solahart.
– Meet the requirements for eligible batteries.
*Eligibility criteria applies. Limited time offer available while stocks last to eligible NSW residents only on selected Solahart Heat Pumps. The number of certificates that can be created per system is based on its geographical location (zone) and varies with the type, size and model of the system installed. The value of an Energy Saving Certificate (ESC) is not fixed and varies depending on market factors. These calculations are based on a certificate value of $39.06 in Zone 3. The boosted ESCs are only available in NSW within Zone 3. Under current regulations, NSW Government incentives apply in the form of ESCs that can be used to offer a discount on the purchase of a solar or heat pump water heater (if eligible, conditions apply). ESCs have a variable market value and are subject to change. Installation must be completed by June 30th 2025.

It’s open to residents of the ACT who either own a home or hold a current driving licence (when applying for a loan for an electric vehicle).
You must meet the scheme’s eligibility criteria (outlined in the Scheme Guidelines) and Brighte’s lending criteria. This includes attending a free one hour live workshop. These workshops will help you with your energy efficiency choices. You have the option of attending a workshop online or in person.
